Acne
Acne is one for the worldโs most common skin conditions which results from inflammation of the sebaceous follicles. One of the key bacteria responsible for the inflammation produces a chemical sensitive to light atย different wavelengths. When stimulated by light these chemicals will neutralise the bacteria. With no bacteria present inflammation will subside.
Skin Rejuvenation
Omniluxย reviveโขย stimulates cellular activity. As cellular activity increases cells become more permeable and responsive to exogenous factors. Blood flow increases, leading to greater tissue oxygenation andย detoxification. Skin appears clearer with less fine lines, is plumped up and hydrated.
The effect of active skincare products can be greatly enhanced.

Which device do weย use?
We use Omnilux which is the highest grade LED light treatment on the market. The lights themselves have a broader range and overlap to maximise the benefits.
Is there any down time with Light Therapy?
No there is no downtime. Light therapyย actually helps minimise down time post treatments. We therefore highly recommend includingย Omnilux into every skincare regime.
How many treatments do you recommend?
This question completely depends on what you are wanting to treat, how severe your skin condition and how long it has been there. We recommend booking in for a skin consultation with our paramedical skin therapists to recommend a treatment plan.
Can I have a treatment with a facial?
Absolutely, we couldnโt recommend it more! It will enhance your results.
What are the benefits of Light Therapy?
There are 3 different lights with Omnilux Red, White and Blue. Each emits a different wavelength of light and therefore targets a different area of the skin and skin concern. These are:

Revive (red) โ emits pure red light, which reaches 5โ8mm deep to rejuvenate the skin. Stimulates cellular activity to help healing, detoxification, excess melanin removal and the production of elastin and collagen.

Blue โ uses blue light that penetrates less than 1mm to combat acne. We suggest about 8 sessions over 4 weeks โ can improve acne by 70 to 80% and, when combined with Omnilux Revive, severe acne can be improved by up to 75%.
Plus (white) โ in combination with Omnilux revive stimulates the deeper skin tissue, leading to a softening of fine lines, improved skin tone and super smooth skin.
What is the recommended gap between treatments?
We recommend no lessย than 48 hours before each treatment.
Can I be doing something at home?
Yes, we recommend using a Lightstim handheld device at home between treatments to enhance your results. It is major part of the maintain and protect phase of our skin revisions to minimise downtime and heal the skin.
