Why can scars go lumpy?
When the skin is wounded tissue breaks which will causeย collagen to be released to help repair the wound. New collagen will continue to be formed up to several months after. There will be anย increase in the blood supply if the skin is producing too much collagen, whichย causes the scar to become red, raised and lumpy.
How long would it take to remove my scar?
